Lake Mariner is located on the expansive site of a decommissioned coal-fired power plant in western New York State, where 93% of the energy is generated from carbon-free resources.
Once completed, the plant will have a capacity of over 500 MW. This innovative project utilises existing power infrastructure to provide a new, high-tech future for this industrial site and will continue to retrain and employ workers who have lost their jobs as New York transitions to renewable energy.
